Defending champion Jauhari Johan beat 7,877 other participants to retain his Nike+Human Race 10K title with a time of 31 minutes 1 second.
The race route this year starts and ends at the F1 Pit Building and will take runners along Nicoll Highway and all the way out to the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the 5km mark.
All 500 extra slots for the Nike+ Human Race 10K were snapped up when Nike released them to the public exclusively at the Nike flagship store at Wisma Atria.
