Victoria Junior College (VJC) maintained their unbeaten run in the floorball National A Division Championships with a 12-0 thrashing of Temasek Junior College (TJC) to top their group with 15 points.
Led by a heroic showing by captain Abygael Koh (BM #15) with a game-high five goals, Bukit Merah scored four goals to Katong Convent's one in the third period of play to overturn a one-goal deficit. Captain Abygael alone accounted for three of her team's four goals in the final period.
With this win, Victoria improve to a 8-1 win-loss record since Round 1 with their sole loss against Meridian Secondary. They advance to the semi-finals as second-place finishers from Group X.
With this win, Bukit Merah improve to a 6-4 win-loss record while Greendale drop to 4-5.
