Singapore’s Cheryl Chan and Eliza Ng finished seventh and eighth in the women's race, while Muhammad Shah Feroz and Colin Tung came in ninth and eleventh respectively in the men’s race.
Eliza Ng finished sixth in the women's race, while Raviin S/O Muthu Kumar and Fang Jianyong came in seventh and eighth in the men’s race.
Singapore's representatives Nicole Liaw and Eliza Ng finished 5th and 6th respectively in the women's 800m race. Zachary Devaraj, five-time National Inter-School 800m champion, clocked a season's best time of 1:54.35 to finish fifth in the men's race.
Singapore's representatives Melvin Wong and Jeevaneesh Soundararajah, cheered on by a partisan home crowd which packed the grandstands, finished seventh and eighth in 16:01.58 and 16:14.75 respectively.
This result was a repeat of the pair’s second-placed performance at the last edition of the SEA Games.
