National Stadium, Friday, April 29, 2016 – Singapore Sports School (SSP) defended their C Division girls’ 4x100m relay title at the 57th National Schools Track and Field Championships.

The quartet of Zann Oh, Erza Irdina, Nurul Insyirah and Nur Ria Isabelle clocked 50.95 seconds to win gold.

Last year, the SSP C Division team clocked 50.74s.

The championship record remains untouched at 49.67s. It was set by Singapore Sports School in 2010.

Nanyang Girls’ High School clinched the silver medal in 51.35s while Cedar Girls’ Secondary won bronze in 52.54s.

“We felt really happy winning the gold medal and also achieving our new personal best timing,” said Nur Ria Isabelle.
