Singapore Basketball Centre, Monday, January 26, 2015 — Nanyang Technological University (NTU) survived a late rally by Temasek Polytechnic (TP) to beat the latter 46–42 in the final of the Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) Basketball Championship.

The title is NTU’s third consecutive with the new shrunken IVP system, making them the first women’s team in recent years to achieve a three-peat. NTU had also previously recorded a five-title streak from 1997 through 2001.

Lim Jia Min (#18) led NTU to a fast start, hitting three consecutive shots from beyond the arc to establish a seven-point first quarter lead.

In the closing seconds of the third quarter, Pauline Ang’s (#15) post play gave TP their first lead of the game over the defending champions, but Amelia Lee (#10) returned the favour, keeping NTU two points ahead at the end of the third.

With just under two minutes remaining, Shermaine See (#11) hit a three-pointer to give TP a one-point 42–41 lead. NTU regrouped and Lim (#18) knocked down a clutch three to help NTU regain the lead. A pair of free throws from Lee (#10) and Yukie Yoshida (#21) eventually put the game out of reach for TP.
