Myanmar, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 – Muhammad Amirudin bin Jamal, 26, of Singapore sprinted to a bronze medal in the 100-metre final at the 2013 Myanmar Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

Amirudin clocked 10.55s to finish behind gold medal winner Jirapong Meenapra (10.48s) of Thailand and Iswandi Iswandi (10.51s) of Indonesia. Amirudin’s personal best (PB) for the 100m is 10.46s.

Compatriot Gary Yeo was fifth in the final with a time of 10.70s.

Amirudin was the anchor runner for the 4x100m relay team that won a silver the day before.
