Clementi Sports Hall, Friday, July 19, 2013 – Jurongville Secondary won their final two Group B games but missed qualifying for Round 2 of the West Zone C Division Basketball Championship.

Jurongville began their campaign with a 14–67 loss to favourites Jurong Secondary but bounced back to beat Juying Secondary 54–47. In their third game, they lost 31–37 to Dunearn Secondary but again came back to beat Hillgrove Secondary 56–31.

In their final game, Jurongville beat Fajar Secondary Fajar 44–40 to finish with a 3–2 win-loss record. That was however good enough only for third pace in their group. With powerhouse Jurong expected to top their group, the game against Dunearn proved crucial to determine who would grab the final qualifying spot for Round 2. Unfortunately for Jurongville, they lost 31–37 to Dunearn 31–37. Dunearn ended Round 1 with a 4–1 record to finish second behind Jurong (5-0).
