Bishan Stadium, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 — Dost Daniel bin Hidayat of Xinghua Primary clocked a time of 12.50 seconds to win gold in the A boys’ 100 metres final at the 54th National Primary Track and Field Championships.

Despite not coming in first in his heats and the semi-finals, Daniel emerged victorious in the final.Zheng Kai Lun of Griffiths Primary came in second just a mere 0.1s behind, while Muhamad Firas bin Muhamad Irwan of St Anthony’s Primary came in third with a timing of 13.16s.

The A boys’ 100m record of 12.10s was set by Su Yinen of Juying Primary in 1982.
