Clementi Sports Hall, Friday, June 29, 2012 — Jurong Secondary rolled over Greenridge Secondary 73-22 in the West Zone C Division Boys’ Basketball Championship.
Jurong, the West Zone runners-up in 2011, led 36-6 at half time and restricted Greenridge to only a single digit score in each quarter.
Mao Yu Xian (#14) had a game-high 22 points in the game.
It was the opening game of the season for Jurong while for Greenridge, this was their second straight loss. They went down 18-25 to Nan Hua High in their first game.
Jurong will next play Nan Hua High on Wednesday, July 4th while Greenridge will play Hua Yi Secondary on the same day. Both games are at Clementi Sports Hall.
