Toa Payoh Swimming Complex, Saturday, June 9, 2012 — Twins Timothy and Mark Lee finished fifth and sixth in the Men’s 3m springboard event at the SEA Swimming Championships.

Youth Olympian Timothy could only manage fifth despite recording the second-best dive of the six-round competition. The 18-year-old managed a 66.00 with a 3.0 difficulty, inwards 2 1/2 somersault dive.

His brother managed a best score of 53.20 with a 2.8 difficulty dive for sixth placing.

The competition was won by 27-year-old Ahmad Sukran Jamjami of Indonesia, who finished 36.15 points ahead of second placed Chew Yi Wei of Malaysia. Third place went to Muhammad Nazreen, also of Malaysia.
