Presbyterian High, Wednesday, march 7, 2012 — Shuqun Secondary beat Ang Mo Kio Secondary 2-0 (25-12, 25-10) in a dead-rubber match at the National B Division Girls’ Volleyball Championship.

Both Shuqun and Ang Mo Kio had already failed to qualify for the second round after losing their matches in Group B. Drawn together with North Zone champions Xinmin Secondary and East Zone runner-up Ngee Ann Secondary, the teams knew that they were in for a tough fight right from the start.

Despite a hard fight from Shuqun during their campaign, they suffered narrow losses to both Xinmin and Ngee Ann to settle with ending their season in the first round.

Ang Mo Kio also had a commendable performance, managing to squeeze into the National Round this year at the expense of Queensway Secondary. Unfortunately, they could not progress any further after failing to win any of their matches.
