Clementi Sports Complex, Friday, March 2, 2012 — Dunearn Secondary beat New Town Secondary 46-34 to wrap up third place in the West Zone B Division Basketball Championship.
Dunearn had lost 47-55 to Unity Secondary in the semi-finals but this win ensured they finished their zonal championship on a winning note. Dunearn will take a 10-2 win-loss record into the national championship.
For New Town, this loss follows on from their 39-44 loss to Jurong Secondary in the semi-finals. They finish their zonal campaign with a 10-2 record.
