Ministry of Education Sports & Recreation Club, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 — Dunman Secondary and Punggol Secondary emerged victorious in their respective Group B matches at the National B Division Boys’ Volleyball Championship.

Dunman Secondary defeated Ang Mo Kio Secondary 2-0 (25-18, 25-6) while Punggol earned their second straight win with a victory over Bukit Panjang Government High. Punggol, who finished third in the North Zone Championship, defeated their West Zone runner-up rival 2-0 (25-17, 25-13).

Bukit Panjang’s loss puts a dent to their hopes of qualifying for the next round. They will need convincing wins in their upcoming matches against Dunman Secondary and Ang Mo Kio Secondary to stand a chance at qualification.
