*SCAPE, Friday, October 7, 2011 — Singapore students will get a chance to try out the 100PLUS Challenger, a 20-foot, 13.4-tonne custom-built truck that transforms into four sports stations — rock-climbing, basketball, table tennis and Kinect.

Come January 2012, the truck will tour primary and secondary schools islandwide for students to take part in a 100PLUS Campus Challenge. Students can accumulate points by taking on the four stations. The higher the number of participants from each school, the greater the number of points accumulated.

The two schools with the highest points (one primary and one secondary) will each receive a S$10,000 grant from 100PLUS. This grant can be used by the schools to develop a sporting or active lifestyle initiative for the students.

This weekend, October 8th and 9th, from 12 to 8pm, as a prelude to the 100PLUS Campus Challenge, 50 teams from the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University and the various polytechnics will take on the 100PLUS Challenger at *SCAPE Playspace. The winning university and polytechnic team will each receive a S$1,000 cash prize.

Secondary and primary schools who are interested in inviting the 100PLUS Challenger to their grounds or to participate in the 100PLUS Campus Challenge can email enquiry@100plus.com.sg.
