Jalan Besar Stadium, Monday, August 16, 2010 – Singapore are through to the semi-final of the Youth Olympic Football after Montenegro secured a 2-1 win over Zimbabwe. This places Zimbabwe at the bottom of Group B, allowing Montenegro and Singapore to move on to the semi-final.

Zarko Grbovic opened the scoring for Montenegro at the 28th minute while Aleksandar Boljevic made it 2-0 for his team just three minutes into the second half. Zimbabwe scored a consolatory goal through Stanford Chavingira at extra time, but it was all too late as Montenegro sealed the game 2-1.

Bolivia have also made to the last four after a 9-0 thrashing of minnows Haiti. Haiti will fight it out with Vanuatu for the last semi-final spot when they face each other on Thursday, August 19 at 6pm.

Meanwhile Singapore will face Montenegro in their final group match on Thursday, August 19, 8.45pm at Jalan Besar Stadium to determine who tops the group.
