Kuala Lumpur, Saturday, July 17, 2010 — Singapore beat Philippines 88-82 in the semi-finals of the ASEAN School Games basketball competition.

Singapore is represented by the Combined Schools team while the Philippines is represented by a team from San Beda College.

Recovering from a slow start, Singapore took the lead in the second quarter through a disciplined team play and did not look back.

Singapore will now play Malaysia in the final. The Malaysians beat Thailand 75-55 in the other semi-final.

Singapore lost 64-92 to Malaysia in the preliminary round.
