Is the cheapest Slingers ABL ticket via Red Sports? Yes (even though the SISTIC people are blur)

Some of you are wondering if the Red Sports deal for Slinger tickets is for real.

The answer is “Yes!”

I’ve had feedback that the SISTIC agents are denying some of you students the discount.

All I can say is, the SISTIC people aren’t communicating it to their frontline staff properly. They sell tickets to a thousand and one events that have a myriad number of discounts schemes, so it’s understandable.

So print out the page from the SISTIC page (see instructions below) and wave it in their face while shouting “Red Sports! Red Sports!” and demand your discount. Don’t stop shouting “Red Sports!” until they give you the discount.

Red Sports worked out a deal with the Singapore Slingers management to get you into the Singapore Indoor Stadium at the cheapest price in town and so make sure you get it if you are a student.

And how much is that?

And how to get it?

This is what you have to do:

1. The SISTIC people are blur so print out from the SISTIC website the page that shows the Red Sports discount. It’s right at the bottom of the page. Click here.

2. Go to an authorised SISTIC outlet before game day or the SISTIC ticketing counter at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on game day. In fact, the lines are so long on game day it’s better to go buy it beforehand.

3. Show your student card to prove that you are in an approved educational institution (primary, secondary, junior college, polytechnics, universities).

4. Open your mouth and tell the ticket seller the following password: “RED SPORTS” (no need to shout – normal voice will do or else the guy behind you will think you are mad or are in a cult).

5. Pay $6 (this includes the $1 SISTIC admin fee).

6. If you want to buy more than one ticket at that price, you can.

7. Ask for SOUTH GALLERY seats where all the Slinger fans will sit.

8. Wear RED and show up with your friends to cheer on the Slingers.

That’s it!
