With Fabien Apheceix scoring a team-high 18 points, NUS always had the measure of SIM Uni and led from start to finish. In a high-scoring first quarter, NUS outscored their opponent 29-22 and by half-time were leading 47-32.

Despite a strong contribution from their #7 who had a game-high 26 points, SIM Uni could not get close enough to threaten NUS and trailed by 16 points (54-70) going into the fourth quarter. A strong fourth quarter push saw SIM Uni narrow the gap to eight points with 1:30 to go in the fourth but NUS shut the door on them and finished off with a three-point basket at the buzzer by Bandar Tjetty who scored 15 points, including three 3-pointers, on the night.
