Sumanthiran S/O Selvarajoo of St Joseph’s Institution captured the 3000m gold medal at this year’s National Inter-School Track & Field Championships.

Sumanthiran and Eugene Cyril Rodrigo (VS) led the pack and maintained their lead throughout with Sumanthiran crossing the finishing line first in a time of 10 minutes 25.88 seconds. Eugene was second in 10:27.96 while Yeo Si Heng of Hwa Chong Institution was third in 10:29.56.
