Catholic High beat Peirce for second time this season

Peirce came up against Catholic High for the second time this season and the result was the same – an 84-64 Catholic win. The important difference this time though was that the margin of defeat was much smaller. The last time the two schools met, Catholic High won 70-26.

Catholic High quickly jumped to a 24-7 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Jabez Su (#4), captain of the Catholic High team led with 32 points while guards Johncelin Khoo (#8) and Dominic Lim (#10) contributed 11 and 10 points respectively.

Lee Zuo Kuan (#10) was outstanding for his Peirce team as he single-handedly took on the entire Catholic High defence on numerous occasions to score 34 points and emerge as the top scorer for the game.

Catholic High will now meet Anglican High on Monday in a top-of-the-table clash. Both teams are unbeaten for the season.
