Jurong beat Raffles Institution 50-47 to claim first place in Group B while dark horses East Spring nailed down second place in the group with a 36-31 win over Maris Stella. In Group C, Presbyterian High are confirmed as the group winner. Fighting for second place in the group to ensure entry into the quarterfinals are Unity and Peirce. Peirce have the easier final game, going up against Chung Cheng High (Main) while Unity have to beat Presbyterian High in their final group game tomorrow.

In the Girls’ Championship, Nanyang Girls’ beat Nan Chiau (no score provided) to claim at least second spot in Group B. In Group C, the girls of Jurong beat Zhong Hua (no score provided) while Dunman nailed down first place with a 51-21 win over Ahmad Ibrahim. In Group D, Yishun Town, New Town and Unity are in a fight for the second spot in their group and the final quarterfinal spot. Tomorrow, Unity take on Yishun Town while group winner Chung Cheng High (Main) will provide a stern test for New Town.

With today’s results, the team that have qualified for the quarterfinals so far are:
