National Inter-Primary Seniors Netball Championship 2007
Tanjong Katong Primary vs Henry Park Primary
Thursday, 19 July 2007 at Kallang Netball Centre
Story by Red Sports reader Yang Yue Heng, a student of Tanjong Katong Primary. Thanks!
This was a good game for the TK senior netball team. The girls trounced their opponents with their hearts. They also won the chance to play in the national final, which may be the biggest game of their lives.

Finally, they are going to meet the St Margaret’s, the only team which can stop them from winning. The last step to their success will surely be arduous and they certainly need to have both physical and mental strength to finish the last part of their netball journey.

The netballers also need to overcome their fear of St.Margaret’s. It is time for them to believe in themselves and do their very best to win the honour for the school!

You are welcome, Steven. Yue Heng (is a guy by the way) did his school wonderful service by writing all those stories. This site is for student athletes to tell their stories. We post stories from contributors and welcome one and all to write.
Thank you for hosting the many interesting sports articles. Thank you too to Yang Yue Heng for the many updates on TKPS advancement in the Primary school netball ’07 competition. A pity she had not submitted a report on the 07 finals where they lost to their perennial rival St Margarets Primary School (SMPS) for the second consecutive years. Indeed SMPS had been doing well in the last 2/3 years. In fact, they were the double champion (both senior and junior) in 2006 and both teams were featured in this years finals. Unfortunately. they could repeat the result when their juniors lost to CHIJ (I think)
It is also a wonder what happened to the SMPS team at the secondary level. St Margarets Sec is not even in the list of top 4 schools for 2008.
