With the score poised delicately at 4-4 at the end of the regulation five innings, Catholic High showed more composure to win the tie-breaker 6-5.

It was a close game throughout with the score at 3-3 by the end of the third inning. Both teams managed only one more run in the fifth inning to finish the game tied 4-4. But James, the smallest-sized member of the Catholic High team managed to connect with the pitch by Wei Yang of ACS(I) to bring home Daniel for the tie-breaking run. That proved to be a crucial run as Catholic High held on to win the game.

Both teams are still in with a chance to qualify for the National semifinals as they still have to play Maris Stella and Damai in crucial matches.
