Ling Siew Ru of Shuqun Primary jumped 1.31m to capture the gold medal earlier this week at Bishan Stadium.

Having finished 5th last year, this is Siew Ru’s first-ever gold medal in the event. She raised the bar to 1.34m but failed in all her attempts. Yiew Yan Cheng of First Toa Payoh Primary finished second with a jump of 1.28m while Lai Jiatong of Balestier Hill Primary finished third with 1.20m.
