Ben Ong of Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School jumped a distance of 9.38m to capture the gold in the C-Boys Triple Jump Final earlier this week at Bishan Stadium.

Competing in the Triple Jump for the first time this year, the 11-year-old Ben also set his personal best with the winning jump. Finishing second behind him with a jump of 9.18m was Daryl Lee of Gongshang Primary.

Deon Pang of Ang Mo Kio Primary finished fourth with a leap of 8.9m while Aaron Chang of St Stephen’s School finished third with 9.10m. "I’ve jumped 9.2m before," said Aaron, "and I’m also competing in the 4x400m and High Jump Final." Aaron eventually finished 6th in the High Jump Final.
