CCAB, Friday, May 18, 2007 – Raffles Junior College (RJC) outlasted defending champions Victoria Junior College (VJC) 7-6 in a penalty shootout after their semifinal ended in a 1-1 stalemate at full-time.
In the other semifinal played later, Meridian Junior College (MJC) and St Andrew’s Junior College ended their semifinal in a goalless draw in regulation time. In the penalty shootout that followed, MJC held their nerve to emerge 4-3 victors.
RJC and MJC will now meet in the Championship Final next Thursday, 24 May 2007, 4:30 pm, at the National Stadium. The 3rd/4th placing game will start at 3 pm at the same venue.
Red Sports will cover the final live right here on redsports.sg by providing a play-by-play account.
Play hard. Play fair.
May the best team win.

when and where is 3rd/4th play off?
finally. Raffles used to have a good tradition for scouts and soccer. let there be a spark that re-kindles the long lost fires so that it will burn brightly, just like how scouts light fires during camp
perhaps the final will usher in a new era where Raffles is also known for both soccer and rugby footballs, rather than being a flash in the pan fluke
and maybe VJ will bounce back after this ‘defeat’
errr, that is not VJ’s captain. anyway, vj played really well. GO GO GO!
i tot finals is at jalan besar stadium? who says it’s at national stadium?
agreed. it would be nice to watch a rematch of last year finals: VJC vs MJC. It was really a tough and good match last year.
good luck to MJC and RJC for the finals.

Honestly, the matches shouldnt have been played at CCAB. The field was in a bad shape. Nonetheless, let bygones be bygones.. Congrats to RJC and MJC for making it to the finals.. It would have been very nice instead had the finals be between VJ and MJ.. Oh wells.. looking forward to the finals which will be played at the National Stadium on the 24th. Uncle les and cheng jiejie, will u guys be there?
