C Division Girls Basketball Final: NYGH topple SCGS 48–31 to claim championship

Nanyang Girls' High School (NYGH) overcame a slow start to beat Singapore Chinese Girls' School (SCGS) 48–31 in the finals of the National C Division Basketball Championship. Bridget Wu (NYGH #27) led all scorers with 15 points, while Rae-Ann Chua (NYGH #32) followed closely behind with 11. Celeste Niam (SCGS #4) put up 8 points for her team, while Wang Jia Yue (SCGS #11) added 6 points.

North Zone C Div Girls Basketball: SCGS shake off NVSS to take home championship with 46–28 win

In a battle where skills and hunger clashed, Singapore Chinese Girls' School (SCGS) took down North Vista Secondary (NVSS) during the final of  the North Zone C Division Girls Basketball Championship. With a win of 46 - 28, SCGS were, without a doubt, the champions of the North Zone C Div Girls.  Au Zexuan (SCGS #10) and captain Chloe Laur (NVSS #27) were the top scorers of their team and poured in a total of 13 points each. Wang Jia Yue (SCGS #11) followed behind their lead with a grand total of 12 points while Shumin (NVSS #53) put in a formidable effort to achieve six points for her team.

North Zone C Division Girls Basketball: SCGS secure spot in final over ESS with convincing 56-31 win

Singapore Chinese Girls School (SCGS) secured a decisive 56-31 win over Edgefield Secondary School (ESS) in the semi-finals of the North Zone C Division Girls Basketball Championship. The win meant that SCGS will be moving on to the finals against North Vista Secondary School (NVSS), which will be the concluding match of the zonal championships. "We did a lot better than our previous game with Yishun Town Secondary," said Wang Jia Yue (SCGS #11) with a grin. "We managed to bounce back and get the opportunity to enter the finals."

The last stretch of the B Division Girls' 800-metres final saw Emily Ong of Singapore Chinese Girls' School (SCGS) pushing across the track to hit top speed and secure gold in a swift 2 minutes and 24.53 seconds. Her timing is the fastest clocked in the girls' B Division in eight years, since Ranjitha Raja and Wendy Enn recorded 2:22.02 and 2:23.03 respectively in the 2011 final.
