B Division Girls’ Volleyball: Shuqun and Anderson earn spot in second round of nationals

Shuqun Secondary and Anderson Secondary have earned a spot in the second round of the National B Division Girls’ Volleyball Championship after winning their respective Group A matches. Shuqun saw off Queensway Secondary 2-0 (25-14, 25-21) while Anderson Secondary beat Dunman High 2-0 (25-17, 25-19). Both teams will meet on Tuesday March 8 to determine who will finish top of Group A.

B Division Girls Volleyball: Shuqun defeat Dunman High while Anderson hold off Queensway for first win in nationals

Shuqun and Anderson Secondary kicked off the Nationals B Division Girls volleyball championships on a positive note as they won their respective first round matches. Shuqun beat fellow Group A opponent Dunman High 2-0 (25-25-21, 25-13), whereas Anderson edged out Queensway Secondary 2-0 (25-22, 25-17)

Shuqun defeat Jurong to emerge as West Zone B Division girls volleyball champions

Shuqun Secondary beat zonal defending champions Jurong Secondary in dramatic fashion to win the West Zone B Division Girls volleyball final. Shuqun had to come back from behind in the first set and hold off a last ditch comeback attempt by Jurong in the second set to eventually triumph 2-0 (25-22, 25-22).

Shuqun and Clementi Town book spot in West Zone B Division boys volleyball final

Shuqun Secondary booked a spot in the final of the West Zone B Division Boys Volleyball Championship after seeing off West Spring Secondary 2-0 (25-19, 25-11) at the semi-finals today. Clementi Town Secondary also earned qualification after beating Bukit Panjang Government High 2-0 (25-16, 25-18) at the other match.
