National C Div Rugby: ACS(I) beat Saints 25-10 to complete 2nd straight Grand Slam

Spotting clean shaven heads for the final, ACS(I) got off to a fast start, with hooker Gavin Ong cutting through the Saints defence to score a very early try that was converted. The St Andrew boys threatened to mount a comeback in the second half with two tries from Joedan Chan, but a penalty and then a fourth ACS(I) try in the closing minutes of the game snuffed out any possible danger.

A Div Rugby: ACS(I) record 4th straight title with 12-3 win over RI at National Stadium

In the first A Division Rugby Championship final to be played at the National Stadium, Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) were eyeing their fourth title on the trot, while Raffles Institution (RI) were seeking their first title in seven years. ACS(I) eventually ran away with victory, with two first-half tries by Isaac Tan (#3) and Benjamin Lim (#16).

C Div 100m: Nanyang Girls’ Elizabeth-Ann Tan shatters 24-year record

Elizabeth ran 12.41 seconds, clocked with a tailwind of 0.1 metre/second to break Lim Joo Lee's C division hand-timed 12.6s record that was set in 1993. Teammate Bernice Liew claimed the silver in a personal best 12.72s. Both girls later combined to help Nanyang Girls' High School to gold in the 4 by 100 metres relay.

A Div 4x400m: ACS(I) defy injury setbacks to claim 1st relay gold in division

ACS(I)'s anchor Joshua Lim stopped the clock at 3:27.60, ahead of SAJC's 3:28.82 and VJC's 3:31.12. SAJC's and VJC's podium finishes also meant traditional powerhouses RI and HCI were both denied of a top three finish for the first time in eight years.

B, C Div Relays: Nanyang Girls’ prevent Singapore Sports School clean sweep at nationals

Nanyang Girls' all-star C Division relay teams were anchored by 80m hurdles-100m double gold medallist Elizabeth-Ann Tan and 800m-1500m champion Wu Shu Han. The girls clocked 50.04 seconds in the 400m relay -- their best this season -- and 4 minutes 15.68 seconds in the 1600m relay to claim two gold medals to add to the five individual ones the school earned previously.
