Siloso Beach, Sunday, March 2, 2014 — At the Mission Foods Beach Netball Festival, Mission Foods was announced as the title sponsor for the 9th Asian Netball Championship, which will take place at the Singapore Sports Hub from September 7-14, 2014.

Mission Foods also presented Netball Singapore with a sponsorship cheque of S$200,000 in support of the national netball squads and key events in the netball calendar.

Cyrus Medora, Chief Executive Officer, Netball Singapore, commented, “The continued sponsorship from Mission Foods following the World Championships in 2011 has allowed us to continue to build on the quality and stature of our events, both at the elite and mass participation levels in Singapore.”

Mr Medora added, “As title sponsor of the Asian Championships in September, we are looking forward to working closely with Mission Foods to ensure we deliver their objectives as a corporation and that this additional funding allows us to put on a top-level netball competition for participants and spectators alike.”
