Bishan Stadium, Thursday, April 13, 2012 — Ismi Zakiah Bte Kashful Anwar of Canberra Primary twice lowered the B-Girls 300m at the 53rd National Inter-Primary School Track and Field Championships.

She had broken the record of 44.97 seconds set by Nur Maisara Bte Razlee of Greenwood Primary in 2010, when she clocked 44.81 seconds in the heats. She then lowered the record yet again during the final when she came in with a time of 44.56s.

Ismi now holds both the record in the D-Girls and B-Girls 300m.

Ismi blitzed ahead in the race and established a commanding lead in the final 100m. She was over two seconds faster than second-placed Emily Sim from Nanyang Primary. Emily finished with a time of 46.97s while Arissa Rashid from Gongshang Primary was third with a time of 47.25s.

Renee Pak from Nanyang Primary was fourth with a time of 47.40s.
