National Sailing Centre, Friday, April 20, 2012 — The Raffles Institution (RI) team of Bernie Chin, Loh Jia Yi and Samuel Neo scored a total of 79 points over two days of racing to beat their close rivals, Marcus Ng, Keith Lee and Ryan Teo of Victoria School, by 10 points.
This win means that RI retain their National C Division boys’ Sailing Championship title.
There were six races over the two days and Bernie Chin lead the whole fleet of 30 boats while team mate Jiayi took the second spot.
Benjamin Teo, Jordan Tan and Matthew Lau of Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) finished third.
