Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 — Joy Wong of Singapore Chinese Girls’ School (SCGS) showed grit to finish her C Division 80m Hurdles race despite falling.

She had a shot at finishing third before she fell at the fifth hurdle.

Joy, who had won her qualifying heat in 13.46 seconds to qualify for the final as the fourth fastest, lay still for a few moments after her fall.

She eventually picked herself up, cleared the last two hurdles and crossed the finish line in tears.

You go, girl.

You finished the race.

Respect.
