Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 — Farhana Bte Md Thair of Singapore Sports School won the B Division 400m final in a time of 59.72 seconds.

Farhana was the only athlete in the field of eight to go under one minute. She had led the field with a 1:01.92s timing in the semi-finals.

The Championship record is 57.11 set by T Piriyah, then also of Sports School, in 2008.

Charlene Oh of CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh) was second in 1:00.98 while Brittanie Bartlett, also of Sports School, was third in 1:01.83.

Zheng Yanlei of Cedar Girls’ Secondary, who clocked the sixth fastest time of 1:04.26 in the semi-finals, dropped two places to eight in the final with a 1:05.10 performance.
