53rd national schools track and field championship

Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 — Ang Ding Hui of Raffles Institution won the B Division 110m Hurdles in a time of 14.65 seconds at the 53rd National Schools Track and Field Championships.

The championship record is 13.98s set by Sean Toh, then of Victoria School, in 2010.

Ding Hui also won last year’s B Division final in a time of 15.15s, finishing first in a field of eight where six runners were a year older than he was.

He also represents RI in swimming, and will take part in the 50m and 100m Freestyle events at the 53rd National Schools’ Swimming Championships which will begin on April 16th.

Victoria School athletes took the other two podium places. Terence Tang was second in 15.55s while Muhammad Danial B Othman was third in 15.66s.
