CCAB, Wednesday, February 18, 2012 — It took a double overtime to separate both Kent Ridge Secondary and National Junior College in an exciting South Zone B Division Boys’ Basketball first round group match. In the end, Kent Ridge outscored National Junior College 9-8 in the second overtime to secure a 49-48 victory.
Peicai Secondary, on the other hand, experienced none of the drama in the adjacent court with a comfortable 57-33 win over Queenstown Secondary. All four teams are in the same group, vying for a spot in the second round. Only the top two teams in the group will go on to qualify for the second round.
In another group match, Catholic High enjoyed their second consecutive victory with a 44-21 win over Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary.
