The Energizer National League has reached the end of the first round and the finalists have been decided. Here is a roundup of Division 1 and 2.

adidas Sneakers Dash, who finished last in the previous edition of ENL Division 2, have shown leaps of improvement. However, they were still not good enough to qualify for the final. In the deciding match, adidas Sneakers failed to hold off New Zealand Chamber of Commence (NZCC) Kea, losing narrowly 40-36.

adidas Sneakers were trailing at the end of first quarter. During second quarter, a slight drizzle affected the performance of NZCC’s players, giving adidas Sneakers a golden chance to spring an upset. adidas Sneakers, who adapted well to the slippery floor, stole the lead in the second quarter to finish with a 28-26 lead.

However, adidas Sneakers could not contain NZCC in the second half and eventual lost 43-46 to allow NZCC to book their spot in the final.

Speed came into Division 2 as underdogs after promotion from Division 3. However, despite having the odds clearly stacked against them, they stunned their opponents to top the division and qualify for the final against NZCC Kea.

In Division 1, adidas Sneakers Speed are on form this year after a disappointing run last year which saw them bow out in the opening round. They beat Bedok CSC A 48-43 to qualify for the final. In the other deciding match, defending champions Nike Swoosh led from start to finish to beat Bedok Kings Reds 48-43, booking their spot in the final against adidas Sneakers Speed.

The final for both Division 1 and Division 2 will be played on 3rd July at Kallang Netball Centre, at 6pm.
