Whitianga, New Zealand, April 1-6, 2010 – Singapore Optimist sailors, Kimberly Lim and Andrew Tan, won the gold and bronze medals in the open division at the recent Toyota New Zealand Optimist National Championships. The championships were held at Mercury Bay.
Eight sailors represented Singapore and their results are as follows:

3rd, Andrew Tan, St Joseph's Institution
4th, Joshua Guo, Singapore Sports School
6th, Andrew Tang, Raffles Institution
11th, Edward Lim, St Michael's School
12th, Jillian Lee, Tanjong Katong Girls' School
14th, Jessica Goh, Raffles Girls' School (Secondary)
15th, Loh Jia Yi, St Hilda's Primary School
