Zhonghua beat Guangyang 49-32 in Girls B Division South Zone basketball

CCAB, Friday, February 5, 2010 - Zhonghua Secondary School beat Guangyang Secondary School 49-32 in a Girls' B Division South Zone second round Group X match.

Both teams came into the opening second round match with identical 3-1 win-loss records, although Guangyang survived an amazing three-way tie to finish top in their first round group.

Debbie led Zhonghua with 14 points, while Natalie Tham had 13 for Guangyang, including three three-pointers.

Zhonghua's next match will be against 2009 South Zone semi-finalists and perennial powerhouse Raffles Girls' School on Monday, February 8, while Guangyang will play RGS two days later. Both matches will be played at CCAB, Evans Road, and will tip off at 1530 hrs.
