Barbados started brightly against Singapore and it took 6 minutes into the game before Singapore started responding. The Singapore girls did well to put back some shots and the first quarter ended 15-11 to Barbados.

The Singapore team were fantastic in their defending and with excellent fighting spirit, they closed the game and was on par with Barbados at the end of the 2nd quarter, with the score tied at 23-23.

The 3rd quarter saw the Barbados team in charge as they pushed to a six-goal lead, pulling ahead to 36-30.

Singapore fought a tremendous comeback and kept themselves calm even though the clock was ticking. With accurate passes, great defending and tireless spirit from every single player, they were only one goal away when they ran out of time.
