Red Sports: How long have you played bball for your school?
Rachel: I played basketball for Anglican for one year as I am only in Secondary One.

Red Sports: What is your most memorable, happiest moment playing for your school?
Rachel: My most memorable moment was the East Zone Championship Final against Dunman. We managed to beat them in the end!

Red Sports: What is your favourite shot?
My favourite shot was when somebody knocked me in mid-air while I went for an open layup. Amazingly, the ball dropped into the net! It was a foul-in!

Red Sports: How did you get started with basketball?
Rachel: Since young, I always had an attraction for basketball in my primary school. When my seniors were training, I would sit aside and watch them train. I was amazed at the many tricks they did and how they put the ball through the net. Then I started practicing by myself at home. Whenever I had the time i would take a ball and do the various tricks I saw my seniors doing. At the age of 10 years old I wanted to learn more about basketball and thus I joined my school basketball CCA.

Red Sports: What is the hardest thing you had to overcome as a school player?
Rachel: I think the hardest thing was that I had to overcome was the pressure I put on myself. Because I was only in Sec 1, I did not have as much experience as the other players and I was always nervous that I would make a mistake like miss an open layup or pass the ball wrongly.

Red Sports: Any advice to the juniors who are trying to break into the school team next year?
Rachel: Juniors, Anglican high will cultivate your basketball skills to a very high level and I encourage you to come in! Last of all, you must have confidence in yourself-quoted by Guo Ming Jiao Lian a.k.a the best coach ever!
